The 2020 Dane Ripper Quality was won by Love You Lucy from River Racer with Winter Bride third.
Afforded Group 2 status in 2009, the Dane Ripper Quality takes place on Gr1 Stradbroke Handicap day, the biggest race day of the Brisbane winter racing carnival in Queensland.

The Dane Ripper Quality is a race for fillies and mares only and typically attracts mainly local gallopers who are suited to the set weight & penalty conditions of the event. Any females contesting this race may continue on to the Gr1 Winter Stakes (1400m F&M) run over the same track & distance on the final day of the carnival.
The Winter Stakes is a steep rise in class for fillies & mares contesting this event and Red Tracer (2012) & Tripping (1996) were the most recent winners of the Dane Ripper Quality & Winter Stakes double in the same year. Russeting (4th in 2009) won the Winter Stakes at her next start, while Wealth Princess (3rd in 2010) managed to place in both races.
Invincibella (2019-2018) ran sixth in the Gr3 Lady Of The Turf Stakes over 1300m at Eagle Farm before scoring back-to-back victories in this event under the guidance of trainer Chris Waller.
Recent Dane Ripper Quality winners include Prompt Response (2017) and Cradle Me (2016).
