Show County Quality
The Show County Quality is a Group 3 quality handicap that takes place each year at Randwick racecourse in Sydney, New South Wales during the Sydney spring racing carnival. The race is run over a distance of 1200 metres and worth $160,000 in prize money and the 2020 Show County Quality was won by Roheryn from Probabeel with Special Reward third.
Recently held as a listed event, the Show County Quality was upgraded to Group 3 status for the 2013/2014 racing season and takes place on Group 2 Winx Stakes day.

The Show County Quality is a quality handicap event that regularly attracts more than handy sprinters who can sometimes go on to have a say in the bigger races to come during the spring racing carnival.
Run under handicap conditions, it often pays to look for improving horses who may have got in under the handicapper's guard and can use their lighter weight to advantage.
The Gr2 Tramway Quality Handicap is the natural progression for gallopers contesting this event and Moment Of Change (2012) went on to run third in the Tramway after winning this race. In recent years Bank Robber (2008), Primus (2006) and Sportsman (2003) won the Show County Quality before taking out the Tramway Quality Handicap and a number of horses have placed in both races over the years.
Deprive (2019) resumed from a spell to score a narrow win in this event for trainer James Cummings.
Recent Show County Quality winners include Le Romain (2018) and Deploy (2017).
