The Light Fingers Stakes is a level weights race for 3yo fillies that usually attracts more than handy females on their way to the bigger races on offer in coming weeks. Fillies only events like the upcoming Group 3 Millie Fox Stakes at Rosehill or the Group 2 Surround Stakes at Warwick Farm are likely races on the agenda for fillies tackling this event.
Classy types Sea Siren (2012), More Joyous (2011), Gold Edition (2007), Assertive Lass (1997), Skating (1993) and Joanne (1990) have all won this race and more often than not the winner of this race will be an above average type.
